Commissions

Commissions:   Unique original paintings can be commissioned.

 

Trish’s favourite work involves commissioned pieces for children where she creates realistic animals and whimsical worlds for the child to be transported to, full of magic and emotion.

 

Each painting is completed in watercolour and pencil, on 300gsm high quality paper. It will be a one-off original, just for you.

 

Commissions usually take between 4 and 8 weeks to complete - New Zealand only.

 

Email trish@trishbowles.co.nz  to discuss the painting you're interested in. 

 

Trish will need an idea of the sort of picture you’re after ie. ‘my granddaughter as a fairy sitting amongst flowers’ or ‘my son sitting on a toadstool or talking to a rabbit’.  

 

You’ll need to send several reference photos so Trish can get a likeness.

 

Trish will email a rough sketch for your approval. You can request changes at this stage. Once painting starts changes can’t be made.

 

When the painting is complete Trish will email you a photo. Then the original painting will be sent by courier.
