BIOGRAPHY

Biography:

 

 

Trish is a highly accomplished artist and illustrator. She works from her home studio in Christchurch, New Zealand. Her range spans from realistic cartoon work to whimsical realism with dreamy watercolour washes.

 

In the past she has done paintings for the Department of Conservation and the Christchurch Botanic Gardens, as well as book covers and many private commissions.

 

Trish has illustrated more than 30 children’s books for various publishers, including many books written by Marlene Bennetts, Emjay Publishing 1990, about NZ endangered species.

 

She uses watercolour and pencils and particularly enjoys painting animals, birds and small magical things.
